Please note: Lunch provided for in-person attendees registered by October 16.
* Full-session attendance (in person or via Zoom) required for scholarship and internship consideration. Only students at T¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ are eligible for internship and scholarship support, but everyone is welcome to attend the workshop to learn more about pathways to careers in financial advising. About Guest Speaker Eugene Skorodinsky
Eugene currently teaches at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business and at Borough of Manhattan Community College. He has also taught Long Island University’s STEP Program, the Financial Planning Association of New York, and as a personal finance instructor and financial counselor at The Research Foundation of The City university of new york. He is a Financial Advisor with minerva Wealth Advisory, where he analyzes clients’ financial data, prepares and discussed recommendations, investment strategies and action plans. Topics he teaches include: banking, goal setting & budgeting, credit building, scoring & repair; debt management; identify theft; insurance & risk management; investing; estate planning; and more.planning.
Eugene holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from NYU; a BS in Electrical Engineering, Power Supply & Energy Conservation from National Technical University (Ukraine); and an AS in Computer Science from Kiev College of Information Systems & Technologies. His community involvement and volunteer work spans more than two decades with Team NY Aquatics; Financial Planning Association of New York; and Working in Support of Education (W!SE).
