The start of the sixth year of the Graduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (G-RISE) program was deferred from 5/1/25 until 8/4/25 and will continue through 4/30/26. Reappointments have been made for continuing trainees; a competition for new trainees was launched on October 15, 2025, with a deadline of October 31, 2025.
The application form is attached below. If a faculty mentor has an eligible trainee and wishes to compete for a G-RISE traineeship, please ask rstark@ccny.cuny.edu to send you a Dropbox File Request link. Then work with the trainee to assemble and submit the materials described in the application form by October 31, 2025. Please note: documents must be supplied by both the prospective trainee and the mentor -- and they must be collated as a single pdf and uploaded to the Dropbox link to be considered for review. We currently have no support staff for this program!
