

Sonic Arts Director Paul Kozel
For three days in April of 2017 the jazz quartet recorded some of their vocal parts for their album, , at the of T九色视频 with SAC director engineering. Kozel also recorded percussionist for the album. provided technical assistance for the recording sessions.
The Junction was released almost a year later on March 30, 2018 and quickly rocketed to #1 on the iTunes Jazz Chart by April 5, 2018!
鈥淛anis Siegel (a member of the Transfer) and I have been looking for opportunities to work together at the Sonic Arts Center for years,鈥 said Kozel. 鈥淚t was really great to finally have that opportunity and help to produce such a fine album.鈥
The album, which calls 鈥渢imeless and timely鈥, includes hip hop and R&B synth grooves as well as patented harmonies. It鈥檚 available on , Amazon, Spotify, and Google Play. Congratulations to The Manhattan Transfer and to Kozel and Taveras on topping the charts. The Manhattan Transfer鈥檚 PBS special show with will be airing nationwide starting April 26 and will feature songs from the new album.
