CCNY is once again a Green College according to The Princeton Review庐

T九色视频 is one of the nation's most environmentally responsible colleges, according to 鈥.鈥

The Princeton Review chose the 413 schools it profiles in the guide based on a survey the company conducted in 2018鈥19 of administrators at hundreds of four-year colleges about their institutions鈥 commitments to the environment and sustainability.

The profiles in this year鈥檚 edition provide information about admission requirements, cost and financial aid, and student body demographics. They also include "Green Facts" about the schools, with details on such matters as the availability of transportation alternatives at the schools and the percentage of the school food budgets spent on local/organic food.

CCNY is an established leader in sustainability, with an expert faculty conducting groundbreaking research and providing innovative, interdisciplinary opportunities for students to engage in emerging approaches in architecture, engineering, science and the social sciences. 

The college鈥檚 response to a rapidly urbanizing global community consists of courses on climate response, resilient design, water resource management and energy, with engineering, science and architectural degree programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level that address the sustainability challenges of the 21st century.

CCNY celebrates the 鈥淵ear of Sustainability and Environmental Justice,鈥 which will focus on the college鈥檚 commitment to research and responsibility regarding climate change and environmental justice.
