
The Graduate Program in Educational Theatre at T九色视频 presents the seventh annual Harlem Children鈥檚 Festival, Saturday, May 6 at Aaron Davis Hall. Activities include dramatic performances and a raffle. The festival is free and open to the public.
鈥淥ur goal is for our candidates to present their artistic work to an audience of captivated and inquisitive young people and their families. There is no better community to share their work with than the Harlem community,鈥 said Jennifer Katona, program director, Educational Theatre Program.
Following is the schedule of events:
10:15 a.m. 鈥淩ainbow Fish鈥 based on the children鈥檚 picture book by Marcus Pfister and adapted for ages three to eight;
10:45 a.m. 鈥淒ot-ish鈥 based on the books 鈥淚sh鈥 & 鈥淭he Dot鈥 by Peter H .Reynolds and adapted for ages two to five;
11:45 a.m. 鈥淭he Reluctant Dragon鈥 based on the book by Kenneth Grahame and adapted for all ages.
The Festival is produced by Sobha Kavanakudiyil, faculty, Educational Theatre Program, and by assistant producers Kinsey Keck and Hayley Wright, candidates in the program. For more information, contact educationaltheatre@ccny.cuny.edu .
