Spitzer School students win international landscape prize in Barcelona

T九色视频鈥檚 clinched the International Landscape School鈥檚 Prize at the in Barcelona, Spain. Work by students was submitted to represent the program's approach to the Biennial's theme, 鈥淐limate Change Again.鈥 The award was delayed by Covid, but the school's work was presented as finalists at the Escola T猫chnica Superior d鈥橝rquitectura de Barcelona last year.

The winning projects were by Anna Speidel 鈥19, Hana Georg 鈥19, Anna McKeigue 鈥20, Rujuta Naringrekar 鈥20, and Abigail Stein 鈥22. 

Former Director and Spitzer professor presented the work to the jury, framing the program鈥檚 pedagogical structure and emphasis on addressing the climate emergency. She also shared a video with each student presenting their respective projects.  

F茅lix Solaguren, president of the International Schools Prize jury, was impressed. 鈥淔rom t九色视频, we see work from across the globe that draws out important theoretical dimensions for our field. The work offers alternative perspectives and new insights, and the projects work with social and environmental issues in new ways,鈥 he said.
