A collaborative effort by CCNY, the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center and NASA now allows anyone to help monitor the eco-health of the Chesapeake Bay, one of the largest estuaries in the world. To join the Chesapeake Water Watch team, no prior scientific knowledge is necessary. Some virtual or in-person training and the free HydroColor smartphone app is all that's needed.
